The comment thread takes off from the last quote and get a bit out of hand. Head over and witness it for yourself but for now, here’s the talking point:
Does this place have a name yet? I think it should be something along the lines of “mutants yeti slabs” or “hungry ogres” – as in, this place will eat you whole, Shrek style ….none the less, I think these shots from Cobus Bosman via sheepalign depict the yeti/ogre within.
“Issue two is a tribute to the power of love. Why we love our mates, hero’s and all we dare not talk about. Mitch Rawlins has a bit to say so we gave him 10 pages, Dallas signer designs up his own spread and Chad and Brad and That unleash their new rap career on us. And as per le BOOGIE way we showcase the best bodyboarding images from around the globe in a PHAT 144 pages.”
Saffa, Jordy Smith pulls a radical manoeuvring in the Mentawi islands and it seems everyone is quite baffled! Calling it the “Rodeo Clown”, “cross between acrobatics, snowboarding, skating, surfing” and “the gnarliest flip I’ve ever seen before!”, it is quite the achievement and I can deffinatley appreciate the talent involved… But come on guys, it’s called an A.R.S and has been for years.
